Hi, my name is Damian Dawber. I am a 22 year old web developer from Manchester, England. I spent some time studying Chemistry and Physics at degree-level before leaving to pursue web development full-time.

Was leaving university a wise choice?

Who knows, but it was the right choice. I have never been as enthusiastic and goal-orientated as I am now. My only real incentive as a student was to get qualified - now I work because i'm inspired.

So what can you do?

(X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript [& jQuery], PHP and MySQL.

I am familiar with a number of technologies including YQL, the Facebook API (API, FBML, FBJS) and the PHP MVC Framework Codeigniter.

I spend most of my time at present learning object-oriented PHP, Codeigniter and anything JavaScript.
